About Car Part Picker

Car Part Picker provides part selection, pricing, and compatibility guidance for people who work on their own cars. You pick your vehicle once, and the catalog narrows to parts a source lists as fitting it. Each part carries the citation behind that claim.

Where the data comes from

Vehicle identities come from NHTSA vPIC. Factory specs come from owner’s and service manuals, cited per fact. Fitment comes from manufacturer application catalogs and retailer fitment tables — a part is shown when two independently authored sources agree, or when one authoritative source says so and we show you which one. Prices and stock come from live eBay listings.

Coverage is uneven and we’d rather say so than guess. If nobody we trust has published fitment for your car, that category will be empty instead of filled with a plausible part. The reasoning is written up in how we verify fitment, including a case where two sources contradicted each other and we published neither.

How it makes money

Affiliate commission through the eBay Partner Network when you buy through a link here. It doesn’t change which parts appear, what order they’re in, or what they cost you.
